Reach the Beach
For the 15th time, Salem Academy will have a team of runners competing in the Ragnar Reach the Beach Relay. We run this grueling, 200-mile non-stop run through New Hampshire’s mountains to raise crucial funds for health and wellness programs at Salem Academy. While our team is running across NH, students and staff embark on field trips to hike to local mountains and hills and navigate challenges like ropes courses to foster team building and deepen well-being.
Now more than ever, teen health and well-being are at-risk. The lasting impact of the pandemic has taken a toll on the mental and physical health of many teens and they need additional programs and resources to stay healthy and thrive.
Your donation to our Reach the Beach team helps ensure that our 480 students have the knowledge, skills, and support they need to be healthy and thrive by supporting programming that:
- Increases school connectedness across all grades,
- Increases access to needed services by improving school-based services and connecting families to community-based sources of care, and
- Implementing quality health education.
Consider donating to our team and spreading the word about our Reach the Beach! Your support for these events makes a difference in the lives of our students and galvanizes others to give.

Our students deserve access to an excellent free public education. One that comes without user fees and provides students with opportunities to explore and pursue their passion in the humanities, STEM, arts, and athletics. Students need real-world, hands-on experiences through field study, internships, service trips, and more. Our annual fund supports these efforts and more, so that our students have the opportunities they deserve to prepare for the future and shine.
