Giving Wall

Salem Academy is pleased to bring back the "Giving Wall" focused on the key areas in which we need the most support. Teachers send us a list of items they need and we put them up for you, our friends, to help make the items a reality!

Academics

Goal: $1,000

Donations to this fund will help support our various academic departments including the English, history, mathematics, science and technology. Funds will be distributed based on the designation written in the appropriate field at checkout.

Athletics

Goal: $1,000

Our athletic programs are the class of the Massachusetts Charter School Athletic Organization and we depend on external funds each year to ensure we can compete amongst the best programs across the state. For example, in a non-pandemic year, the Girls and Boys Soccer teams have gone to High School Night at Gillette Stadium to watch the New England Revolution play. This is a great night that is supported by the parents every year. It is a great team bonding event and a chance for our student athletes to see an incredibly high level of soccer. Thanks to generous support, we’ve also been able to purchase a Hudl camera in our gym which allows us to stream home games and record practices for film breakdown. This is just a slice of what we are able to do with funds raised. Among other things, this year we are seeking funds for a basketball scorers table. This would be a huge benefit to our basketball and volleyball programs. In addition it will provide us a space that can showcase our schools logo and sponsors at all home athletic events. We hope you will consider supporting our Navigators!

College Preparedness

Goal: $1,000

At Salem Academy we are committed to providing students access to the tools necessary to prepare them for the college admissions process. From textbooks to tests, our goal is to maintain a 100% college acceptance rate.

Fine Technical & Performing Arts

Goal: $1,000

Salem Academy Players needs your help! Our costume collection has grown and it saves us money to reuse costumes but not if they are ruined by basement storage. Racks and bags are basic supplies but costs add up, particularly now that we are doing 4 shows a year! Additionally, due to COVID-19 we’ve had to adapt to digital formats to make the show to come to life which are additional costs we have had to incur.

Health & Wellness

Goal: $1,000

At Salem Academy we are committed to providing students access to high quality and engaging health and wellness opportunities from counseling services to infant simulators, we want our students to have access to the best services and tools to better prepare themselves for a healthy and productive life. During the pandemic we’ve seen an increase in mental health cases and we need your help to make sure we can meet the rising demand for services.

Service Learning

Goal: $1,000

Part of the academic program at Salem Academy is our commitment to Service-Learning. From 6th grade through 12th, students are engaged with service projects and skill building which culminates in a senior service project as part of their graduation requirements. All of the projects and associated academic components such as field trips and materials require investment of time and capital to come to life each year.
