Salem Academy provides a safe and supportive community where students can thrive. In addition to rigorous academics, we focus on providing opportunities where students can connect with each other and explore their passions beyond the classroom, be it athletics, the arts, or STEM. Your donation provides crucial resources needed to support our students as they REACH for College. Here are some of the program areas your donations support, all year, every year:

Academics
1:1 technology; engaging, diverse curriculum; dedicated, talented faculty. Your support provides the resources need to attract and retain a high-quality faculty and staff and provide them with the tools they need to help students thrive academically.

 

Social-Emotional Learning
As we continue to recover from the impact of the pandemic, social-emotional support for students continues to be a major priority. Your support provides crucial mental health resources for our school community.

 

Service-Learning
All students participate in a Service-Learning course. Through addressing real-world problems and collaborating with community partners, students develop the civic awareness, dispositions, and skills necessary to be a proactive citizen of strong character. Donations on Giving Tuesday support our 6-12 Service-Learning program.

 

Arts, Athletics, & Extracurriculars
We offer more than 30 different clubs, sports programs and other extracurricular activities for all students, with no user fees. These opportunities provide important resources for students to connect with each other, explore their passions, develop important life-long skills, and shine outside of the classroom. Your support allows us to continue to provide a robust offering of extracurricular activities and elective courses to students.

What does our Annual Fund support? Our Annual Fund at Salem Academy supports all areas of the school including academic opportunities, facilities, extracurricular activities and more! Your gift to Salem Academy ensures that we are able to provide a rigorous college prep program for our students.

Do I have to make a gift of a certain amount to participate?
Absolutely not! Donations come in all sizes. In fact, the majority of our donations are less than $50! Remember, many of our partners look at our giving participation more than the amount given when they consider their contributions. Even if your gift is $5 it adds to our participation number which we work hard to ensure is 100% among faculty, staff, board and families.

Can my gift be recurring?
Yes, by committing to a recurring gift, you join a group of donors who sustain our work through consistent and reliable giving, increasing your impact with no extra work for you! While the option is available online, please contact the development office to ensure this is set up properly.

Can I pay in installments?
Yes, larger gifts can be broken up and processed automatically on the schedule of your choosing. Please contact the development office to ensure processing.

Does my donation count toward the matching gift?
If there is a matching gift, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar until the match is met!
